If you’re an Artist, Artisan or Photographer it’s important to have somewhere to display your best work, especially if you intend to sell it. Our aim at ArtShowcase is to give those that do not wish to have a full-blown website a platform to feature their work.
We do not take commission on any sales – buyers deal directly with artists.
What features are included with a ShowCase?
- A Bio section with one image + unlimited text
- A stylish picture Gallery (up to 20 images) that loads into a full screen display
- Each image displays: Title / Dimensions / Media & Price
- A link to your Website (if applicable)
- Links to all your Social Media accounts
- A personal contact form allowing potential buyers to message you privately
- All Showcases are optimised for the search engines (Google, Bing etc.)
- All Showcases will be promoted on Facebook, Instagram & Twitter
- All Showcases will also be promoted around the site e.g. sidebars, featured pages etc.
- Up to 4 x YouTube Videos/Tutorials (Enhanced Plan Only)

What exactly is a Showcase?
- Think of a Showcase as a mini website where visitors are able to view your Bio & gallery plus the facility to contact you privately via email (contact form). Your Showcase will be featured around our site (sidebars, featured pages etc.) and we will also feature you on our 3 Social Media accounts.
- All Showcase pages are optimised to be readable and indexed by the major search engines – Google, Microsoft Bing et al.
In other words, we will do everything we can to promote your Showcase to enable you to get as many visitors as possible. Should you have an existing website then you are more than welcome to cross link to your site which will ultimately help you even more in the search engines.
What are the costs?

Although we operate a monthly subscription, there is no obligation on your part. You are free to cancel at any time should you wish.
Subscriptions are also payable annually. Just choose your favoured method at checkout time.
If I sign up for a subscription, is there a contract involved?
No, there is no contract involved. When you sign up, your credit card company or PayPal, depending on which route you chose, will set the initial payment as a recurring charge, until you cancel, which can be done at any time. There is no minimum period involved. We don’t want you to feel as though you’re tied into something you cannot get out of.

How do I get a Showcase?
- Sign up for an ArtShowcase plan of your choice
- You will then receive an email with all your order details and a link to the Uploads Area
- Upload your files & content to our server
- We will then build your Showcase and email you a link when it has gone ‘live’
- If you need anything tweaking, drop us a line and we will fix it
We’ve put together a page showing exactly how easy it is to get your own showcase. Don’t forget, we do all the work building the page. All you need to worry about is getting the images & text to us however, we have tried to make the upload process as easy as possible. We are always ready to help should you need assistance getting your info over to us.
What size should my images be for uploading?
Generally, if you can make your images 2000 pixels on the shortest side, you won’t go wrong. By all means supply them bigger (we can resize them for you) but please not smaller. If you send in a 640 x 480 pixel image, it will look fine at that size, but once it is enlarged to fullscreen (as in your gallery) it won’t fill the screen and will look a little lost!

Can an unscrupulous visitor steal my images?
We have made it very difficult by installing software that prevents users right-clicking on your gallery images. If someone uses a screenshot to grab your image then please note: this can only be captured at a low resolution of around 72dpi (dots per inch) which basically means the image is pretty useless for printing purposes.
Any print-ready images that are uploaded for a user gallery are resized to a lower resolution but will still display perfectly.
If I sell something, do I need to pay commission?
No, we don’t take commission on any sales however, we will still be working hard to help you achieve sales. With your own contact form on your Showcase page, buyers will be able to contact you directly with no interference by us. The main benefit for you not having to pay commission is that there is no need to inflate your prices to cover commission, which is a huge plus for yourself and any prospective buyer.
