If I sign up for a subscription, is there a contract involved? (Click Here To Open)
- No, there is no contract involved. When you sign up, your credit card company or PayPal, depending on which route you chose, will set the initial payment as a recurring charge, until you cancel, which can be done at any time. There is no minimum period involved. We don’t want you to feel as though you’re tied into something you cannot get out of.
What exactly is a Showcase?
- Think of a Showcase as a mini website where visitors are able to view your Bio & artwork plus the facility to contact you privately via email (contact form). Your Showcase will be featured around our site (menu, sidebars etc.) and we will also feature you on our Social Media accounts. In other words, we will do everything we can to promote your Showcase to enable you to get as many visitors as possible. Should you have an existing website then you are more than welcome to cross link to your site which will ultimately help you in the search engines.

Although we operate a monthly subscription, there is no obligation on your part. You are free to cancel at any time should you wish. Important: we do not take commission on any sales you make.

How do I get a Showcase?
- Sign up for an ArtShowcase plan of your choice
- You will then receive an email with all your order details and a link to the Uploads Area
- Upload your files & content to our server
- We will then build your Showcase and email you a link when it has gone ‘live’
- If you need anything tweaking, drop us a line and we will fix it
We’ve put together a page showing exactly how easy it is to get your own showcase. Don’t forget, we do all the work building the page. All you need to worry about is getting the images & text to us however, we have tried to make the upload process as easy as possible. We are always ready to help should you need assistance getting your info over to us.
Can an unscrupulous visitor steal my images?
We have installed software that prevents users right-clicking on your gallery images. If someone uses a screenshot to grab your image then please note: this can only be captured at a low resolution of around 72dpi (dots per inch) which basically means the image is pretty useless for printing purposes.
The problem with watermarking is if it is too subtle, then this is easily removed in Photoshop. If it is prominent, then this spoils the viewer experience.
Our view is that even with the best will in the world, if someone wants to steal your pic, it’s tough to stop them. However, with literally millions upon millions of pics online, the chances of being targeted are fairly remote.
If I sell something, do I need to pay commission?
No, we don’t take commission on any sales however, we will still be working hard to help you achieve sales by ongoing promotion around the site and on social media.
What’s the difference between the Standard & Enhanced subscriptions?
The Enhanced subscription includes the facility to display 4 x YouTube videos. Many Artists/Creatives are producing Tutorial videos so this facility would be an ideal extra.

Do I have to upload all 20 images in one go?

- No, you can upload a few if you wish and then come back to add the rest at a later date.
- The files you have uploaded are stored in your User Profile so you can easily check how many images you have uploaded, and also edit them if you wish.
- e.g. When we start work on your Showcase and notice for instance that you have uploaded less than 20 images, we will drop you a line to ask if we are ok to go ‘live’ with what we have. The missing images can then be uploaded at your leisure.
If I sell something can I replace the image in my gallery?
Yes, no problem. We have a form designed purely for this purpose here: Replace An Image
Don’t forget to drop us a line when you’ve made the changes so we can update your Gallery.
Alternatively, we can attach a ‘Sold’ label to the pic which can stay in your gallery until you are ready to replace.
Image Sizes – I want my images to look great in the gallery, what size should they be?
Try and err on the large side (shortest side around 2000 pixels) but remember there is a 10Mb limit per image. More details on image sizes here: Images Sizes
I sometimes have issues logging in. Is there anything I can do?
Usually, the quickest and easiest solution is to refresh your browser page. This tends to solve most issues if you’re not seeing a page correctly. e.g. a page may be asking you to login when you’re already logged in. Refreshing the page should fix this.

good morning I am thinking of joining your site to promote my work, I see I do not have to upload at 20 images at one time, but I am a little confused about the 48 hours you mention. For example if I upload 10 images can I then update the others through the coming months so I have time to sort out what I want to upload

Hi Mark,
Thanks for pointing out the 48 hour limit, which is going to be removed. We’ve found there is no need for it so yes, of course you can take your time and upload at your leisure. The way we work is: as soon as the artist starts uploading images, we start work building the page. If the artist hasn’t uploaded the full 20 images we normally email them to ask if we’re ok to go ‘live’ and then they can add the missing images whenever it suits them.
